I'm a Senior Nuke Compositor with 8 years of experience across VFX and post-production,
working on high-profile features and streaming series for some of the most respected studios in the industry —
MPC, Framestore, Electric Theater Collective,
One of Us and JellyFish internationally, alongside leading Italian houses
including FramebyFrame, EDI and Blackstone.
I trained at Big Rock Institute of Technologies (Master of Computer Graphics, 2014)
and ViFX School of Visual Effects (NukeX Compositing, The Foundry Certified, 2016),
and started my career at Analog Studio before progressively taking on more complex compositing
challenges across advertising, music videos, and long-form drama. My credits include
My Brilliant Friend (HBO), The Terror: Infamy (AMC), and a range of international
features and series through my time at One of Us.
I'm always looking to grow — I've trained in Python for Nuke, DaVinci Resolve,
GitHub for compositing pipelines, and completed advanced VFX supervision coursework
(CompLair / Pedro Andrade, 2023). My focus is on complex element integration
and technical problem-solving — bringing both craft and efficiency
to every production I join.

change it at any time using the “Cookies” button in the corner.
Full details in the Cookie & Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary
Remembers this cookie choice so the notice doesn’t reappear on every visit. Stored only in your browser, contains no personal data, and is never sent to a server. Always active.
Video embeds (Vimeo)
Allows the showreel and advertising videos to load from Vimeo, which may set its own cookies. If off, no request is made to Vimeo at all and a still image is shown instead.
Analytics & advertising
Not used on this site. There is no tracking, profiling, or advertising of any kind, so there is nothing to enable.
Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · alessandromelillofx.com
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how they are used on this website. Cookies are small files placed on your computer or mobile device by a website. Similar technologies — such as your browser's local storage — work in a comparable way, and are covered by this policy too.
This website is a personal portfolio. It has no accounts, no logins, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking scripts. No sensitive information (passwords, addresses, payment details) is ever stored in cookies or local storage.
Cookies and storage used on this site
Consent preference (essential · set by me · persistent). When you dismiss the cookie notice, a single value is saved in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear on every visit. It contains no personal information and is never sent to a server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
Vimeo video player (third-party · session and persistent). The showreel and advertising videos are embedded from Vimeo. When a player loads, Vimeo may set its own cookies or storage to deliver the video and remember playback preferences. These are set by Vimeo, not by me, and I have no access to or control over them. The players on this site are loaded with Vimeo's "Do Not Track" option enabled, which instructs Vimeo not to track viewing for analytics or advertising purposes.
No analytical, performance, profiling, or advertising cookies are used on this website.
Your consent
The consent notice shown on your first visit informs you of the above. Because this site uses no analytics or advertising cookies, there are no profiling cookies to opt into or out of. If you prefer that the Vimeo player sets nothing at all, simply do not play the videos, or block third-party cookies in your browser as described below.
How to manage or delete cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking cookies may prevent embedded videos from working correctly.
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone, and I do not use it for marketing or profiling. The only data involved is:
Technical data (server logs). Like virtually all websites, the hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the time of your request. This is used only to operate and secure the site. I do not use it to identify you and I do not combine it with other data.
Information you choose to send me. If you contact me by email or phone using the details on this site, I receive whatever you include in that message — typically your name, email address, and the content of your enquiry.
No forms or data submission
This website contains no contact form and no way to submit data. Nothing you do on the site is transmitted to or stored on any server by me. Contact happens entirely through the email address or phone number published on the Bio page, using your own email application or phone.
Why data is processed, and on what legal basis
Technical log data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest, in order to keep the site running and secure. Correspondence you send me is processed to respond to your enquiry — on the basis of your request, and where relevant for pre-contractual or professional discussions.
Third parties involved
Netlify hosts this website and processes technical log data on my behalf. Netlify is based in the United States, so this may involve a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, carried out under the safeguards provided by its data processing terms. See netlify.com/privacy.
Vimeo delivers the embedded videos and processes data as an independent controller under its own policy. See vimeo.com/privacy.
Email provider. Messages you send me are received and stored in my email account with my email provider.
External links. Links to LinkedIn and IMDb lead to third-party sites governed entirely by their own privacy policies.
How long data is kept
Hosting log data is retained only for the limited period applied by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting professional relationship, and is deleted on request.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Reasonable measures are taken to protect any correspondence received, though no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Since I hold no database of visitors, in practice these rights concern any email correspondence between us — just ask and I will provide, correct, or delete it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Children
This is a professional portfolio and is not directed at children. No data is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
